I’m Laura Nicely, a Licensed Esthetician and Certified Acne Specialist.

My connection to acne started with my own skin. I know what it feels like to spend your time, money, and hope on one solution after another, thinking maybe this will finally be the thing that works.

That experience is what first drew me to esthetics. Once I began working exclusively with acne clients, it quickly became the area I knew I wanted to dedicate my career to.

How Acne Became My Specialty

After esthetics school, I began working at an acne-focused practice in Vancouver, Washington, where I worked exclusively with acne clients every day.

Over the next several years, I treated hundreds of clients with different acne types, skin types, sensitivities, treatment histories, and levels of severity. There’s a level of problem-solving involved in acne that I genuinely love, and seeing clients finally get clear after struggling for years made the work incredibly rewarding.

Why I Created Nicely Acne Solutions

When I moved back home to Texas, I knew I wanted to bring the work I loved with me. I grew up in Dallas, and after settling in the Austin area, I saw a need for this kind of dedicated acne care in Bee Cave.

Nicely Acne Solutions grew from that: a practice of my own where I could bring together my experience, my approach to acne, and the kind of one-on-one care I wanted to provide.
