Acne Treatment Program in Austin, TX

Why Do Many Acne Treatments Fail?

Because acne isn’t just one problem. Think of acne as having three major components: dead skin buildup, oil, and bacteria.

Most acne treatments target only one part of that process. For example, tretinoin helps address dead skin buildup, antibiotics target bacteria, and Accutane reduces oil production. When only one part is addressed, the remaining components can still contribute to new breakouts.

That’s why I build your clearing plan to address all three components of acne simultaneously.

But targeting all three is only part of the equation. What you use and how you use it still has to be right for your acne, your sensitivity, and the stage your skin is in. I also consider lifestyle and health factors that may be contributing to your breakouts.

When you treat the full picture, clearing becomes much more predictable. Once I assess your skin, I give you an estimate of how long your specific acne may take to clear.

That’s the difference between using acne products and following a complete acne-clearing system.

Your Acne-Clearing
Roadmap

A Clear Plan From Start to Finish

From your first assessment through maintenance, each phase has a clear purpose so you always know what comes next.

Start Your Acne Program

Phase 01

Assessment

Your first visit starts with a thorough assessment of your skin, acne history, current routine, past treatments, and the factors that may be affecting your breakouts. From there, I determine where your skin needs to start and create your personalized treatment and home-care plan.

Phase 02

Clearing

This is where I begin actively working to get your acne under control. I combine professional treatments with targeted home care and make intentional adjustments based on how your skin responds, so you’re not stuck following the same routine regardless of what your skin is doing.

Phase 03

Stabilization

Once your skin is clear, the focus shifts from active treatment to making sure your results hold. Visits begin to space out while I monitor how your skin responds and fine-tune your home care before you move into maintenance.

Phase 04

Maintenance

Once I’m confident your skin is stable, you’ll no longer need in-person treatments and can maintain your results at home with your personalized routine.
